Dhanam college of education is managed by SIR BALAKRISHNA EDUCATIONL trust and it is established in the year 2009-2010 . college located at Kuppur - Dharapuram Privu Road, Dharapuram Po, Kadayampatti Tk, Salem . The campus area is 1.63 acres and well equipped infrastructure with seven subjects. The college got necessary recognizes from NCTE Bangalore, and Affiliated from Tamilnadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU) Chennai.

To bring about a social , moral and intellectual transformation beyond the barriers of caste, creed and religion among the young generation and mould them into productive and responsible citizens through a sound education for a holistic development in a peaceful atmosphere.

To equip the young generation, especially of the underprivileged, oppressed and marginalized section with necessary knowledge, skills and values through a job oriented, skill based education and training , so as to achieve professional competence with personal integrity and social concern.
